The question

Koninklijke BAM Groep was faced with a complex organisational change: complying with complex EU legislation on sustainability (CSRD and Taxonomy). A solid structure was missing and it was unclear who was responsible for what. Under the guidance of Groupmapping, the participants divided the tasks, they pointed to pitfalls and jointly launched the 'Lunteren Coalition': a completely new, decisive action team.

The result

This team became the driving force within the organisation. They stimulate collaboration across the organisation and connect different departments. Through team coaching and theme sessions, ownership and collaboration continue to grow. Thus, BAM contributes step by step to a future-proof organizational strategy and a sustainable way of working. An inspiring example of organisational change in practice.

Jurrienne Schijff

"The proactive 'designing' of the collaboration is the guiding principle of our approach. Sustainability reporting affects the whole business and all departments and therefore successful implementation of such a subject without explicit cooperation is not possible. Groupmapping gives us the right tools to do so in a way that appeals to the organisation widely, is permanently effective and fits the values of BAM.'
