Now that my first month when YGM's is over, it seems like a good time to take stock of the situation. What have I learned in these first weeks! Our start at Groupmapping felt like a warm bath: all colleagues were ready to welcome us. In an intensive work programme we were included in the story and the working methods of Groupmapping. We learned about the power of experience design and got the space for personal development during a valuable training on resilience.

What made this period extra fun is the bond with the other YGMs. From day one it clicked: learning together, helping each other and celebrating the first successes.
After the theory it was time for practice. During projects like the Portaal year-plan day and the SVB leadership day I saw from close up what the Groupmapping method means for organisations. The energy that arises when people work together in co-creation is infectious!
I look forward to further developing . . professionally and personally . . . and to using my fresh glance, analytical ability and creativity to help organisations further.

The transition from the college banks to the real work life is a big one, but Groupmapping made me feel at home from day one. The atmosphere was warm, open and sincere. The first weeks were about getting acquainted with the organisation, culture and practice. What surprised me most was that we were allowed to apply the theory directly. By participating in sessions and playing an active role, we saw how groups grow and achieve results together.

Together with Noor, Pumah and Marijs, we are a close YGM team. We share our successes and challenges, encourage each other and learn from each other. That helps enormously to grow. I am ready for what comes and look forward to creating a connection within organisations that really brings change!

My first month at Groupmapping has flown by. With a broad smile I look back on the past weeks. I was very warmly welcomed by my new colleagues and in a short time I established a strong bond with the other YGM'ers. It's exciting to exchange the textbooks for a 'real' job, but it helps to start with people who are in the same boat. The first weeks we went deep into the working method and culture of Groupmapping: from experience design to workshop design. After that we were allowed to apply everything in practice, among others at Portaal. That was intense, but above all inspiring!

The best moment? Groupmapping magic The energy that comes from working together with creative work forms shows how much impact our work has. Besides the content there is a lot of attention to personal growth. Our first training at the School of Life on resilience, immediately started thinking. I look back on a super educational and inspiring first month at Groupmapping and I cannot wait to develop myself professionally and personally. I feel like getting started and moving organisations together, in co-creation.

"And, how is it? Are you enjoying it?" I often got that question over the past thirty days. My short answer is simple: "Yes!" But the long version is more fun. After a month of training, inspiring stories and walking along sessions, I can say that the work at Groupmapping is much more than solving puzzles. It's just about finding the hidden puzzle pieces We're all in the deep end, but luckily with swimbands. The learning curve is style, the days fly by, and I'm not only discovering the way Groupmapping works, but also a lot about myself.

What I bring with me is: there are no stupid questions, only curiosity that leads us forward. And that fits perfectly with the way we work. With all this new knowledge and the realisation that there is also an important piece of puzzle in our own hands, I look forward to everything that comes next.
