The strategy was brought to life organisation-wide with a clear narrative and interactive tools, further strengthening team strength and leadership.
Dura Vermeer is a family-owned company that has been around since 1855. They are an independent construction company operating in the Netherlands. Their independence and long-term continuity form the basis for their strategy. With a turnover of approximately €1.8 billion and over 3,000 employees, they are among the top players in the Dutch construction industry. Dura Vermeer operates in housing, non-residential construction, infrastructure and engineering, which are organised into divisions and managed by a three-member Executive Board and an Executive Committee.
‘How can we involve not only management but also all employees to really make the organisation's strategy a reality?’ With that question, Dura Vermeer knocked on our door when we were asked to creatively implement and communicate the ’19-’21 strategy.
Our approach to collaboration by design caught on immediately and made the strategy process tangible for the entire organisation. Since then, we have been a permanent partner in bringing strategy processes to life. With conceptual and graphic designs, we involve all divisions, strengthen the team force and support a broad-based organisational change.
Underlying the implementation and communication at Dura Vermeer is a solid and binding narrative, which we developed together with management and employees. A narrative that appeals, is clear to everyone and ensures coherence and consistency within the organisational strategy.
With tools that invite interaction and reflection on one's own contribution, we encourage employees to really live through the content. In this way, we strengthen the organisational culture and build on sustainable team force. The long-term collaboration allows us to continue to deepen, build on what works and take new steps together in develop leadership and alignment with all staff.
