How to create a strong leading coalition on Educational Innovation and create clarity on content, processes and position of the Teaching Academy within the Delft University of Technology.
The Delft Teaching academy is the community of teachers and teaching staff. With the Teaching Academy the Delft University of Technology wants to bring education development activities together under one roof, accelerate initiatives and strengthen collaboration.
The Teaching Academy offers a variety of services and programs to help teachers. It will have its own home in the Teaching Lab, with spaces for experimentation, collaboration and exposure.
In order to make the Teaching Academy a success, a leading coalition on Educational Innovation is needed. There is a strong need to create clarity on the content and position of the Teaching Academy and the different processes within the Teaching Academy.

GroupMapping organized and facilitated an alignment session to form the leading coalition who created the new processes and possible content for the Teaching Academy.
They successfully started a movement and formed the leading coalition. They also got big insights on the strategy of the Teaching Academy and discussed possible content to be handled within the Teaching Academy. It gave Delft University of Technology the innovation boost they needed!
By preparing and designing an alignment session in the new Teaching Lab we were able to bring together all relevant stakeholders that could form a leading coalition to kick start the Teaching Academy and Educational Innovation.
In this alignment session, the participants discussed the relevant topics that needed to be addressed by the Teaching Academy. They also designed the future Teaching Academy in 3D to gain insights and have the right conversation on the tasks of the Teaching Academy.
